"these last few weeks..."

The due date for our long awaited move to CT had finally come, so we quit our jobs, sold our  stuff, said our good-byes and ate at our favorite places "one last time" then lived out of boxes for a couple of weeks not to mention the 3 days we spent in the car with our dogs driving across the country.

Those who know us and our doggies know about their poor behavior in cars; they both get motion sickness, their mouths foam up followed by multiple vomiting, all which is the least thing you need when you are driving 13 hrs a day. So we got our guys some prescription stuff to help with the motion sickness and it did wonders for them! they were the best dogs in the world, i could not believe how well they behaved, but Im sure it wasnt ALL just the medicine I know we were being blessed 24/7.

After we left out house in Millcreek we moved in with my parents for a couple of days until it was time to go for good. We had some good times there, we even made a little trip to the Bountiful Temple and did some baptisms for the dead with my boss and friend Jason and his family.

We arrived in CT on a Saturday and the next day we decided to go check out our  temporary ward, specially since sacrament was at 1:30 pm :) that was a strange experience, our first taste of the church outside of utah...
anyway the next day is when the weirdness started to take effect, Brandon and I seemed to be in some kinda daze, we went looking for a place to live right away but nothing seemed to be working out. We were being heavily attacked, we were closer to each other than ever but the signs of depression were evident.
Bottom line is that we MISS our old home. even though it hasn't been that long the change has been a slap in the face. WE are so grateful for this amazing opportunity that's why is hard to understand why we feel so down (especially me).

But things are getting better I'm forcing myself to get back into my secret stuff and to remember how great this is.
The most important thing that i want to say, is how incredibly grateful I am to have such a wonderful man as my husband. He is there for me whether is a good day or a bad day and gives me so much love and support. I LOVE YOU BRANDON ROY!!!!
